Bullying

This is what I learned about bullying. I learned about how being an upstander is helping the victim, but being a bystander is helping the bully. I also learned that ostracism is similar to bullying in the sense that you are making people feel bad inside. it is different from bullying in the sense that it is not normally repeated. Ostracizing becomes bullying when it repeatedly happens. I also learned that the same person can be a bully and a victim in different situations. This is because someone could be bullying someone at school, but they are being bullied at home by someone else.

This is a song edited by Tosh called Bullying – What is it good for? – Absolutely nothing

Bulling, huh, yeah

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Bulling Uh-huh, huh, yeah

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Say it again, y’all

Bulling, huh, good God

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Listen to me

Ohhh, bulling, I despise

Because it means destruction

Of innocent lives

Bulling means tears

To thousands of parents’ eyes

When their children get hurt

And take their lives

I said, bulling, huh

Good God, y’all

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Say it again

Bulling, whoa, Lord

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Listen to me

Bulling, it ain’t nothing

But a heartbreaker

Bulling, friend only to the undertaker

Ooooh, bulling

It’s an enemy to all mankind

The point of bulling blows my mind

Bulling has caused unrest

Within the younger generation

Induction then destruction

Who wants to hurt

Aaaaah, bulling-huh

Good God y’all

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Say it, say it, say it

War, huh

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Listen to me

Bulling, huh, yeah

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Uh-huh

Bulling, huh, yeah

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Say it again y’all

War, huh, good God

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Listen to me

Bulling, it ain’t nothing but a heartbreaker

bulling, it’s got one friend

That’s the undertaker

Ooooh, Bulling, has shattered

Many a young childeren’s dreams

Made him angy, bitter and mean

Life is much to short and precious

To spend hurting others these days

bulling can’t heel life

It can only break it

Ooooh, bulling, huh

Good God y’all

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Say it again

Bulling, whoa, Lord

What is it good for

Absolutely nothing

Listen to me

Bulling, it ain’t nothing but a heartbreaker

Bulling, friend only to the undertaker

Peace, love and understanding

Tell me, is there no place for them today

They say we must fight to keep our freedom

But Lord knows there’s got to be a better way

Ooooooh, bulling, huh

Good God y’all

What is it good for

You tell me

Say it, say it, say it, say it

Bulling, huh

Good God y’all

What is it good for

Stand up and shout it

Nothin

Why recycling should be manditory

Have you ever thought how bad global warming and the pollution would be on this earth ifsomeone did not come up with recycling? Three reasons why recycling should be manditory is because pollution and other enviornmental problems are getting worse every day. We gain so much money through recycling  whitch gives the government more money to do other things. (Roads, hospitals, schools, etc.) This reduces taxes and therefore you are gaining money too. One more reason recycling should be mandatory is that people become more aware of what is happening to the community.

We have got so much better through recycling. But we need to keep going. The pollution is still coming strong with global warming. We need to make a bigger difference by making recycling mandatory. Right now many piles of garbage are being gathered. Most of this trash is man made and can not decay over many years. This leads to pollution. Landfills are a very difficult issue to fix. As more waste goes into the landfills, the bigger the problem gets? Non-biodegradable products can remain in landfills for centuries, letting out gasses that affect and can be harmful to the environment. Keeping paper and other non-biodegradable items is just one more way recycling helps the environment.

Money is a huge factor of recycling. There is money in the things that we throw away. Some people actually find use of these items if you recycle them. Collecting copper and aluminum cans, scrap metal, and other  various metals can be recycled to save money. Another way recycling helps us in this way is by using recycled products instead of a new one. This costs less and it also saves energy because you don’t have to use the machinery to create the new product.

Recycling promotes environmental awareness among  the people. In most peoples eyes, it creates discipline and concern for the surroundings. It also provides more jobs for people that could maybe not be able to get a job elsewhere. It even builds a strong economy.

An argument against my opinion could say “Maybe recycling does not make a big enough difference in our society through landfills and climate change to make it mandatory.  One thing that I could say back to that is landfills and climate change may not be changing, but the soil and resources are getting much better around landfills and plants that are now recycling. Therefore recycling is making a difference.

After all of these reasons, there is so much more that recycling helps us in all ways. But main reasons why recycling should be mandatory is because it reduces pollution, creates more money, and more and more people are getting involved, so why can’t you?

Mary Spencer

Today Mary Spencer came to our school. We asked her lots of questions. She answered them. She inspired me to dream up a dream and turn that dream into a more likely to happen dream. (Also known as a goal). We will never forget her visit here at our School.
